Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre-Operative

Shift: 12-Hour Day Shifts (Schedule Varies)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre-Operative to join a fast-paced surgical services team. The ideal candidate will have recent Pre-Op experience and be skilled in patient assessment, preparation for surgical procedures, patient education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and evaluations.
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and provide pre-operative education.
• Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff.
• Monitor and document patient conditions according to facility policies.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to evidence-based nursing practices.
• Maintain accurate medical records and regulatory compliance.

• Active RN License.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Pre-Operative nursing experience .
• Current AHA BLS Certification .
• Current AHA ACLS Certification .
• Current AHA PALS Certification .
• Current NIH Stroke Scale Certification .
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Travel candidates only.
• Candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible.

Candidates must be willing to work:

• Two Major Holidays from:
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year's Day

AND

• One Minor Holiday from:
  • Friday after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve
  • New Year's Eve

Weekly Pay Package

• Weekly Gross: $1,847.00
• Weekly Taxable: $720.00
• Weekly Non-Taxable: $1,127.00

Hourly Rates

• Hourly Taxable Rate: $20.00
• Hourly Blended Rate: $51.31
• Overtime Rate: $30.00

• Compliance documents must be completed by the Wednesday prior to the scheduled start date.
• Badge photo required.
