Responsibilities
- Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
- Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
- Document patient information timely and accurately using appropriate systems.
- Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
- Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
- Demonstrate competency in Rapid Response and code events.
- Instruct and counsel patients and families.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid State RN License.
- BLS certification required at hire.
- ACLS certification required at hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Clinical experience.
