Position: Operating Room RN – Location: Indianapolis, IN
Responsibilities
The Operating Room RN will be part of a professional care team responsible for circulating and scrubbing on a variety of surgical cases. The RN will collaborate with all members of the care team to provide exceptional care and compassion to our patient population and the families we serve. The RN will adhere to the AORN guidelines and standards for perioperative nursing.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or possess three years of related professional nursing experience.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Strong written, verbal, and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task.
- Ability to take direction well while also being self-directed and motivated.
- High degree of responsibility and responsiveness.
- Experience required for PRN positions.
