Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams. Utilizes critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervisory discretion to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Requirements Education & Experience- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- EPIC experience required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Collect and assess patient health information and clinical data
- Analyze patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
- Implement and evaluate nursing interventions
- Coordinate patient care with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Supervise and direct nursing support staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC
- Ensure compliance with established nursing standards and policies
- Provide patient and family education to support positive health outcomes
