Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU
Position Status/FTE: Part‑time (0.6) / Every other weekend. Shift length: 12 hours. Start time: 1900. Unit: NICU.
Responsibilities
The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care of patients from admission to discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in a clinical setting, acts as patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. The RN is knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents and manages patient loads within assigned timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Current state RN license
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
- NRP and STABLE certificate within six (6) months of hire
- Three (3) to five (5) years of NICU experience

- BSN degree
- NICU certification
