Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Neurological Unit- Days
Location: Bethesda, MD
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: -
Schedule: Nights, 40-hours per week, 2 8's and 2 12's, weekends and holidays as needed
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly
Requirements: Must have two years of acute care hospital nursing in medical surgical care as an RN. Strong experience in neuro and seizures required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in alcohol detoxification in an acute hospital setting.
- Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms to identify any complications.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document patient responses.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on detox processes and aftercare instructions.
