Pay Range: $32.50 - $48.50 (actual rate depends on experience)

Position Highlights

Hours: 7pm-7am & 7am-7pm; 48hrs/2wks; Every 3rd weekend/holiday

Student Loan Repayment: Avera may provide up to $10,000 over time, $167 monthly (subject to eligibility).

LPN pay scale: $24.50 - 29.13 - 33.75

RN pay scale: $32.50 - 40.50 - 48.50

Overview

Delivers nursing care by developing diagnosis, care objectives, interventions; provides physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual support; monitors conditions, re‑evaluates.

What You Will Do

• Provide patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions, communicating care plan, coordinating with team, supporting patients and families.
• Develop nursing care plans, obtain histories, examine patients, document conditions, collaborate with family, establish diagnoses, objectives, interventions.
• Teach healthcare requirements, instruct patients/families on condition, medications, self‑care skills; answer questions; offer resources.
• Evaluate patient care, measure outcomes, review records, adapt plans.
• Maintain safe environment via infection control, medication procedures, regulations, alerting concerns.
• Document care in patient and department records.
• Maintain equipment operation, troubleshoot, maintain supplies, perform preventive maintenance, request repairs.
• Maintain supplies, check stock, anticipate needs, order, verify receipt.
• Maintain competence in nursing capabilities as directed by leadership.

Required Education, License/Certification, Or Work Experience

Registered Nurse (RN) – Board of Nursing active license in state of practice upon hire.

Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience

1‑3 years experience working in a clinical environment.
