Job Overview

Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit – Per Diem Day shift. Responsibilities include providing nursing care in the ICU, ensuring safety, evidence‑based practice, reporting hazards, supervising staff, collaborating with providers, prioritizing interventions, and managing patient care planning.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma
• One to two years' experience within specialty
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills

Certifications and Licenses Required

• BLS and ACLS certification
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
• Valid N.J. State Driver's License

Preferred

• BA/BS/BSN Degree
• Completion of clinical experience in NLN accredited school
• Screening Certification eligibility
• National Certification

Scheduling Requirements

• Day Shift, Per Diem

Essential Functions

• Assume responsibility for safety, evidence‑based practice, and knowledge of the patient population.
• Report safety hazards and medical errors.
• Supervise task delegation and collaborate with care providers.
• Set and evaluate priorities with measurable outcomes.
• Integrate the nursing process and individualize care plans.
