Registered Nurse (RN) ICU Part Time Nights

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join the team. This is a part‑time night shift position (2 x 12‑hour shifts/week) 7:00 pm–7:00 am.

The Intensive Care Unit (IFOH) is a 12‑bed unit with a patient population that includes, but is not limited to, end‑stage disease processes, sepsis, post‑partum emergencies, respiratory failure, post‑operative care, and other conditions that require intensive nursing care. This patient population requires care from nurses who have successfully completed the critical‑care fellowship and/or have experience caring for the critically ill patient population. The ICU is equipped to provide continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) and induced hypothermia for post‑cardiac arrest patients.

Minimum qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of one year of ICU Registered Nurse experience.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN holds an Associates Degree (ADN), must complete BSN within five years of start date.
• Licensure: Registered Nurse licensed or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
• Certifications: BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required; ACLS preferred or within 90 days.

Preferred qualifications

• 2 years ICU Registered Nurse experience.
