Registered Nurse, RN (Full-Time and PRN Nights)

ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Lake City is hiring Registered Nurses.

Hours: 36 hours per week, block scheduling with rotating weekends, 6:45-7:15. Base Compensation Range: $36.46-$43.57/hr depending on years of experience.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at ClearSky, you will provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a setting designed to promote optimal healing and recovery. You’ll care for patients requiring comprehensive rehabilitation after complex medical events—helping them prevent complications, restore function, and adapt to new challenges.

• Deliver skilled, evidence‑based nursing care using the full nursing process.
• Develop, update, and carry out individualized care plans.
• Monitor, document, and report patient conditions.
• Educate patients and families using clear, effective teaching methods.
• Coordinate and delegate care to LPNs/LVNs and Nursing Aides/Techs.
• Serve as Charge Nurse when assigned.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies (Code Blue, Rapid Response).
• Promote safety, infection control, and compliance with TJC and CMS standards.
• Collaborate closely with the full interdisciplinary team.

What You’ll Need

• Current RN license (State of FL).
• Graduation from an accredited RN program.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred (required for Charge Nurse roles).
• CRRN preferred.
• 1+ year of experience preferred (acute care a plus).
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and reaching.
• Visual and auditory acuity for patient assessment.
• Fine motor skills to operate equipment and documentation tools.
• Occasional exposure to bodily fluids.
