4x10 Days, Monday-Friday, 08:00 - 18:30
Assignment Details
Weekday call every two months from 18:30 - 07:00 and one weekend of call every two months with 24-hour coverage. Call volume is generally low.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Experience with Epic and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab procedures
- Skills in cardiac implant closure device, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction/removal, arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, and cardiac mapping
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Electrophysiology Lab
- Assist in procedures such as cardiac ablation and insertion/programming of AICDs
- Perform conduction studies and cardioversion
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
