Centerpoint - Paris is a 58‑bed acute care facility in the heart of the Bluegrass, part of Lifepoint Health.

More About Our Team

Our 9 bed emergency room team is staffed 24/7 with emergency physicians, nurses, and staff trained in providing emergency care. The ER works alongside our Behavioral Health unit to provide crisis evaluations.

How You'll Contribute

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
• Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• One year of Emergency Room RN experience preferred.
• BCLS required; ACLS, PALS and Handle with Care preferred.
