Overview
Patient Population: Newborn to Older Adult. Provide nursing care for patients of all ages, from babies to the elderly. Use knowledge of growth and development at different ages to tailor nursing care. Follow the nursing philosophy, aims, care standards, and practices.
Skills Needed
- Must be comfortable working with IV drips and breathing machines.
- Strong communication and people skills are important.
- Ability to handle stressful situations quickly and effectively.
- Teamwork is essential in Emergency Medical Services; collaborate with emergency department staff, rescue teams, first responders, ambulance crews, paramedics, trauma surgeons, and other professionals.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in an emergency department (more experience is preferred).
- Previous travel nursing experience is a plus.
- Experience using EPIC software is required.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- The traveler must have their own vehicle for this job.
Certification Requirements
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
State License Requirements
- New Hampshire
- Compact licenses are allowed.
