Department: Emergency Department

Shift: Day (9:00 AM-9:00 PM, Monday-Friday, every other weekend and holiday)

Pay Range: $46.90 - $63.09 per hour

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview

Trinitas Regional Medical Center ER is a state‑of‑the‑art facility that recently underwent an $18.7 million renovation, nearly doubling the number of treatment beds from 27 to 45. The department provides comprehensive emergency services and supports a current full‑service institution with specialized care such as pediatric or obstetric services. Care is delivered in personalized areas that address the needs of families, seniors and behavioral patients, and the department features a 128‑slice CT scanner and an onsite ultrasound suite for rapid diagnostics.

Scheduling Requirements

• Full Time
• Day Shift
• 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Monday – Friday, every other weekend, and holiday rotation

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN License or approved RN license required
• ASN or BSN required
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to start date required
• Previous ER experience preferred; prior Med‑Surg, Telemetry, or acute care experience required
• ER or other national nursing certifications preferred

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) organizes and administers individualized, age‑specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit, supporting the mission and vision of the hospital. Duties include patient teaching, discharge planning and participation in unit performance improvement activities in accordance with state and regulatory standards.
