Registered Nurse (RN) – Dialysis PRN | Denver LTACH

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Denver

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Dialysis Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the unit.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
  • Deliver patient and family teaching for post‑hospitalization and access community resources.
  • Supervise dialysis treatments required by patients with acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse license in the state of application.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred initially; required after 90 days of employment. (ACLS required from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU.)
  • Nephrology Nursing Certification (NNCC) preferred but not required.

Compensation

$52–53 per hour.
