What You'll Do

• Assess physical, psychological, and social dimensions of patients.
• Provide written assessments of patients on admission.
• Document nursing interventions, patient responses, and effectiveness.
• Summarize assessment data and create nursing care plans.
• Implement clinical and technical aspects of care according to policies.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and medication.
• Report patient care issues to Clinical Coordinator or supervisor.
• Coordinate unit routines and guide staff.
• Ensure a safe environment for patients across various age groups.
• Identify personal learning needs and pursue self-growth opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree preferred

Experience

• More than 1 year of experience in a medical/surgical unit required
• 3 years of prior related experience preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Current RN License in Massachusetts required
• BLS/CPR certification required within one week of hire
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
