Overview

We are currently hiring for a Dialysis Registered Nurse .

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, use the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
  • Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and access to community resources.
  • May perform other related duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).
  • Dialysis Nurses are responsible for overseeing dialysis treatments required by patients with acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians.

Qualifications

  • RN License in the state you are applying
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment. Let us help you get your ACLS!
  • ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU.
  • Certification through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) is preferred but not required.
