Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab

Location: Morristown, NJ

Schedule: 3 shifts per week | 7:00 AM–7:30 PM

Call Requirement: One weekday overnight call per week (7:30 PM–7:00 AM) and one weekend call shift per month

Compensation

• Weekly Gross Compensation: $2,741.76

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough and systematic patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Provide safe, competent, and individualized patient care based on clinical needs.
• Demonstrate proficiency with emergency equipment, procedures, and interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital standards.
• Adhere to hospital policies, professional practice standards, HIPAA requirements, and National Patient Safety Goals.
• Follow Universal Protocol and established patient identification and safety procedures.
• Provide appropriate pre-operative and post-operative assessments, interventions, and patient education.
• Assess patient and family understanding of procedures, treatment plans, and instructions.
• Support Pre-Admission Testing by completing required testing and reviewing orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Demonstrate knowledge of surgical diagnoses, procedures, equipment, and related clinical conditions.
• Individualize care according to the procedure performed and type of anesthesia utilized.
• Safely transfer patients while maintaining appropriate body mechanics and safety precautions.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and the multidisciplinary perioperative team.
• Prioritize patient care appropriately and promptly communicate changes in patient condition.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience
• Current and active RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
