Valley View Hospital is at the forefront of revolutionizing cardiology services in Glenwood Springs and the surrounding areas with our state‑of‑the‑art Hybrid Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Our unique program is the only one of its kind in Western Colorado, integrating interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and cardiothoracic & vascular surgery to offer a comprehensive approach to cardiovascular repair.
About the Lab
The lab features two new cardiac catheterization rooms equipped with advanced technology such as Siemens Luminos dRF. Valley View is an independent, nonprofit health system based in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, with 78 beds and a 21‑acre medical campus.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate the delivery of quality nursing care for patients utilizing ANA Standards of Nursing Practice during pre‑, intra‑ and post‑care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab.
- Provide patient care pre and post procedure, supervise nursing staff, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Maintain BLS and ACLS certification, adhere to protocols, and participate in continuous quality improvement.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state‑board‑approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association with cards in‑hand before start date.
- At least 3 years of Cath Lab/EP experience; vascular and/or CVOR experience is a plus.

Schedule & Benefits
Schedule: Full‑time, 4–10 hour shifts per week, with rotating evening/weekend call. 30‑minute callback radius applicable.
