Registered Nurse (RN) Cath Lab

Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab – Full‑time.

Schedule

3x12, Days (6:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.), rotating weekends. Self‑scheduling available.

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical or healthcare errors.
• Formulates individualized plans of care, revises plans as indicated by the patient’s response to treatment, and evaluates overall plan daily for effectiveness.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to the care team, provider, patient, and family, following the chain of command.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual or psychosocial support.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient and protects patient rights.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Minimum six months of medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting (preferred).
• BCLS required.
• ACLS/BCLS certification required.
