Role: Registered Nurse (RN) – Full Time Days

Unit: 5W Cardiac Stepdown – 34‑bed unit within Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center

Location: Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center, Floyd, GA

Overview

5W Cardiac Stepdown provides high‑acuity nursing support for patients recovering from myocardial infarctions, heart failure exacerbations, arrhythmias, and post‑cardiac procedures including catheterizations and device placements. This unit is a dynamic progressive care environment.

Schedule & Pay

• Hours per week: 36
• Schedule: 07:00 – 19:00
• Pay range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour
• Sign‑on bonus eligible
• Full‑time, eligible for benefits

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skillful communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice.
• BLS & ACLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Cardiac/critical care experience preferred.
