Registered Nurse (RN) - Atrium Health Outpatient Infectious Disease Cabarrus FT

Overview

Atrium Health Infectious Disease Cabarrus—Medical Arts Building—seeking an Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) to support triage, care coordination for at‑home infusion patients, and provide outpatient clinical care. The RN will collaborate with providers and clinical support teams to deliver safe, therapeutic care in line with established standards and evidence‑based practices.

Schedule

Full‑time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Support triage and care coordination for patients with at‑home infusion.
• Deliver comprehensive patient care in the clinic using the nursing process.
• Collaborate closely with providers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
• Use evidence‑based practice and clinical decision‑making to provide compassionate care.
• Assist in patient education and management of chronic or complex health conditions.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Active registered nursing license issued by the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience (preferred).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Experience in ambulatory care, medical‑surgical, home health, infectious disease, or care coordination (preferred).
• Strong assessment, triage, and patient education skills.
• Experience managing chronic and complex patient populations is a plus.
