Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Coordinates patient care, personnel management, equipment maintenance, and statistical data collection.

Responsibilities

  • Manage staff including hiring, training, work assignment, performance evaluation, and professional development. Ensure departmental goals are met.
  • Participate in staffing, revenue, and expense budget development and adherence, responding to operational changes.
  • Oversee patient care, ensuring interventions are age-appropriate and documented according to policy.
  • Develop and implement collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments.
  • Review staff hours, manage payroll updates, and coordinate staff communication and meetings. Make staffing and overtime decisions, and conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Ensure departmental productivity and operational goals are achieved, conducting performance evaluations and recommending improvements.
  • This position is safety-sensitive; the ability to maintain alertness and work safely is essential.
