The Center for Human Development, (CHD) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN) to join our team at our Crisis Stabilization Unit located in Chicopee,

Are you a nurse with a passion for providing exceptional care? CHD's Crisis Stabilization Unit is seeking a full time 2nd shift Nurse, M-F 3pm-11pm to support our outstanding team. You'll be at the forefront of providing critical care to adults and teens during their most vulnerable moments, in a facility that offers crisis intervention, outpatient behavioral health, and brief stabilization services—all under one roof.

Essential duties for these roles may include:

• Collaborating with nurses, physicians, advance practice nurses, psychologists, social workers, or other professionals
• Collaborating with guardians, relatives, and significant others of people served when clinically indicated
• Documenting assessments and treatments in the electronic health record
• Assessment of signs of substance withdrawal and completion of standardized assessment tools such as the Clinical Opioid Withdrawal Scale (COWS, CIWA, CIWAb)
• Administers medications
• Engages in a medication reconciliation process
• Coordinates medical care
• Contributes to comprehensive assessments
• Brief crisis counseling
• Individualized crisis prevention planning
• Assisting with discharge planning and care coordination.

Pay rates:

RN pay rate: $45.00/hr RN and $35 LPN.
