POSITION SUMMARY:
The Hemodialysis RN is responsible for the direct nursing care and hemodialysis treatments on all assigned patients within the chronic hemodialysis unit; as a Team Leader, is responsible for the supervision of designated staff members; assists as needed with patient care and serves in a professional manner with emphasis on quality care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum requirements include graduation from an accredited school of nursing; one year of dialysis experience preferred; current registration with the Mississippi Board of Nursing; ability to use a variety of physical motions in day-to-day activity including standing, turning, bending, stooping, lifting and climbing; ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time without experiencing fatigue; flexible to role changes when assigned to function as Team Leader or Staff RN; willingness to function as Charge …
