Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Role Overview: Provides direct medical-surgical nursing care following organizational policies and protocols.

Key Responsibilities: Utilizes nursing standards to enhance patient care and quality of life, develops individualized care plans, conducts assessments, and implements interventions based on physical, cultural, social, and emotional factors.

Coordinates with patients, families, and healthcare teams to assess needs, set goals, and evaluate outcomes.

Communicates effectively, educates patients on health measures, and fosters a positive work environment by mentoring colleagues.

Applies evidence-based practices tailored to patient age and clinical needs, ensuring safety and compliance.

Performs point-of-care testing and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with or without experience. Must hold valid RN licensure and current BLS certification for the respective state. Physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and other movements is required.

Key Duties: Deliver holistic, patient-centered care, promote health education, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and uphold safety standards. The role emphasizes compassionate communication, cultural sensitivity, and professional development.
