Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Role: Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) providing direct patient care in a technically complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver top-of-scope care, prioritizing patient wellness and safety.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Precept and mentor new healthcare staff, supporting ongoing professional development.
• Contribute to evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support specialty education and competency validation through clinical educators.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with an active RN license.
• Minimum of 6 months ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of a fellowship program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification through recognized organizations, valid through sixty days of hire.
• Strong clinical skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to patient-centered care.
