Role
Registered Nurse providing high-level nursing care to patients.
Responsibilities
Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver direct and indirect patient care. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members, ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment. Maintain accurate documentation and administer medications and IV therapies safely and timely. Support educational efforts for patients and families, and promote a cooperative work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing school, current Basic Life Support certification, valid nursing license or eligibility in Texas, and at least six months of RN experience.
Skills
Strong communication, interpersonal, team-building, and professional growth initiative. Ability to use the nursing process to ensure quality care and adapt to assigned duties.
Additional Duties
Perform other tasks as assigned to support hospital standards and patient care excellence.
