Job Specific Position Duties
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize clinical outcomes, ensuring effective patient care management that aligns with quality and cost efficiency metrics.
- Uphold compliance with established standards of care, policies, procedures, and guidelines pertinent to the Military Treatment Facility (MTF).
- Execute comprehensive physical examinations and compile detailed health histories.
- Implement health promotion initiatives, along with patient education and counseling strategies.
- Administer medications, provide wound care, and deliver a variety of tailored interventions as per individualized care plans.
- Oversee and direct the medical care provided by other healthcare personnel, ensuring adherence to scope of practice and competency levels.
- Assess and respond to adverse clinical signs and symptoms, particularly in emergency scenarios, with prompt clinical intervention.
- Facilitate clear communication and collaboration among diverse healthcare stakeholders to relay care plans and enhance patient and family education, ultimately benefiting both the patient and the healthcare organization.

Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8.5 hours per day, scheduled between 7:00 AM and 6:30 PM.
- No weekend or holiday shifts; no on-call duties or callbacks.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing from an institution accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), or as specified in the To.
- Experience: A minimum of one year of nursing experience in a primary care setting within the last two years.
- License: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Board Certification: Not applicable.
- Life Support Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from either AHA or ARC.
- Security Clearance: Candidates must successfully pass a government background check to obtain the required security clearance.
