Title: Registered Nurse - Primary Care
Location: Elmhurst, NY (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract, Mon-Fri, 40 hours a week
Compensation
Pay Range: $50.00-$52.00 Per HR
Description
Provide comprehensive primary care to patients.
Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
Evaluate medical care and adjust as necessary.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Participate in ongoing education and maintain licensure.
Support patients in self-care management and follow-up care.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Review work and develop plans based on patient needs and team skills.
Implement programs and procedures at an organizational level.
Collect data and adjust processes to meet program requirements.
Teach and support patients in self-care management.
Handle medication refill requests and coordinate treatment plans.
Provide direct care, including wound care and medication administration.
Monitor patients awaiting transport to emergency services.
Qualifications
Completion of nursing training from an accredited school of nursing.
Minimum of one to two years' experience in Medical Practice/Primary Care, Med Surg, ER, or Occupational Health.
Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
