Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Post Surgical Cardiac Stepdown unit. In this role, you’ll provide compassionate, evidence-based care to adult cardiac patients recovering from surgery, closely monitoring vital signs and rhythms, managing drips and medications, and responding promptly to changes in condition. You’ll collaborate with a supportive, interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and contribute to discharge planning.
