Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assess: Evaluate patients' physical, social, and psychological status, gathering information from team members and patients.
• Plan: Develop individualized care plans with patient, family, and team input, including education and support planning.
• Implement: Coordinate and delegate care, managing resources effectively while ensuring adherence to guidelines and professional standards.
• Evaluate: Monitor patient responses, outcomes, and satisfaction, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Professionalism: Uphold ethical standards, legal compliance, accurate documentation, and promote the nursing profession.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN license; BSN required (or obtained within four years if less than 12 months of experience).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong patient care, communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements

Ability to see, hear, manipulate equipment, lift, transfer, and assist patients, and navigate busy environments.
