Registered Nurse – Per Diem – Emergency Department

Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, planning, providing, and evaluating patient care to ensure safety, satisfaction, and positive health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic tests following policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and ancillary staff, to coordinate care.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust plans accordingly.
• Participate in unit decision-making, quality improvement, and safety initiatives.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and promote evidence-based practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate from a Nursing Specialty Training Program (required).
• Strong assessment skills, accountability, and teamwork orientation.
• Critical care experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
