Registered Nurse, Operating Room (PRN)

Schedule

PRN with call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
• Perform timely and appropriate documentation related to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.

Qualifications

• Valid North Carolina RN license (or compact state RN license).
• BASIC Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Associate's degree in nursing (Bachelor's preferred).
• 1–2 years operating room RN experience required for PRN.
