Role
Provides direct perioperative patient care in the operating room, PACU, or related settings, utilizing evidence-based practices and a multidisciplinary team approach.
Responsibilities
- Conducts assessments, develops and implements care plans, and models proficiency through precepting new staff.
- Supports clinical education and ensures safety and quality at the point of care.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), valid RN licensure, and BLS certification.
- Requires 6 months of OR nursing experience or completion of a fellowship.
- Relevant certifications such as CNOR are preferred.
