What You'll Do

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patients' care.
• Develop, update, and coordinate the patients' plan of care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care in care planning.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ensure safety and quality in nursing care by identifying and correcting problems.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and practice at the top of license.
• Demonstrate leadership in practice setting and community.
• Participate in the planning and presentation of educational programs.
• Utilize information technology effectively in patient care delivery.

Requirements

BSN in Nursing preferred.

At least 1 year of experience as a registered nurse, or less than 1 year if transitioned from the Newly Licensed Registered Nurse Residency (NLRN) Program.

• Current RN License in Pennsylvania.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS is unit dependent.
• Specialty certification preferred.
