What You’ll Do
- Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care.
- Communicate ongoing patient status and treatment plans with healthcare team members.
- Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
- Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically.
- Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health and wellness.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary discharges to ensure safe transitions of care.
Requirements
Education: BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire required
Experience: 6 or more months of acute care RN experience required; 2 years OR experience preferred
Licenses & Certifications: Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license required; BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required; ACLS preferred; CNOR preferred
