Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- First-time travelers accepted if experienced in Scrubbing and ENT
- BLS Certification
- Experience with EPIC and SBAR systems
Required Skills
- Ambulatory OR experience
- ENT skills: Endoscopic sinus procedures, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Laryngectomy, Mastoidectomy, Radical neck dissection, Septoplasty, Tonsillectomy, Tracheostomy
- Pediatric ENT skills: Myringotomy with tubes, Tonsillectomy
- Emergency management: Code Response, Fire Safety, Latex Allergy, Malignant Hyperthermia
- Specimen handling and Universal Protocol
Preferred Skills
- Pediatric General OR experience
- Endoscopic Procedures: Bronchoscopy
- Ophthalmology: Cataract extraction, Corneal transplant, Eye trauma, Glaucoma surgery, Vitrectomy
- Infection control and Laser Safety
Job Details
- Shift: 8-hour days, 07:00 - 16:00
- 40 hours per week, 13-week contract
- No call, float, or weekend requirements
- Patient Age Group: Infants to Geriatrics
- Patient Diagnoses: ENT surgery, cataracts, ocular plastics, head and neck
- Unit Orientation: 40 hours
