Nurse Educator
The Nurse Educator provides specialized training and educational programs to nursing staff, enhancing their clinical skills and knowledge. They serve as a resource to promote best practices and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational curricula and training sessions for nursing staff.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and modify programs accordingly.
- Collaborate with management to identify staff educational needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of training activities and compliance records.
- Stay current with nursing education standards and industry updates.
Qualifications:
- Hold an Associates Degree (ASN, ADN) from an accredited Nursing Program.
- Possess a valid New York State RN License with primary source verification.
- Obtain and maintain current AHA BLS certification.
- Demonstrate at least two years of Med/Surg nursing experience.
- Exhibit a solid clinical background and strong communication skills.
