The Registered Nurse Non-Acute functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population, focusing on expanding knowledge and skills while providing effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team. • Location: Hackensack, NJ
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

What You'll Do

• Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care.
• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health.
• Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patients.
• Develop and coordinate a patient/family-centered plan of care.
• Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning technologies.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes.
• Identify ethical issues and enhance patient satisfaction.

Requirements

Education: BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.

Experience: Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.

Licenses & Certifications: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required.
AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position.
