Registered Nurse - Nights

Role: A registered nurse providing high-level, technical, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect nursing care based on the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Supervise and collaborate with team members to provide developmentally appropriate care.
• Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and staff to promote understanding and a therapeutic environment.
• Ensure accurate documentation and safe medication administration.
• Support educational processes for patients and families.
• Adhere to hospital policies and standards, utilizing interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Take accountability for personal and professional growth, seeking continuous improvement.
• Maintain a safe environment, managing physical demands and environmental hazards associated with healthcare settings.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current Texas nursing license.
• Basic Life Support certification; additional certifications as required.Minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency Program.
• Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and care standards.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
