Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for:

  • Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
  • Promoting the optimal health, well‑being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
  • Demonstrating personal accountability for relationship‑based care, organizational mission, and core values.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified nursing candidates will need the following:

Education Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or endorsement by equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs.

Experience Requirements

  • One year experience preferred.
  • Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to the specialty.
  • One year NICU level 2 or 3 experience preferred.
  • Mom‑Baby and transition experience preferred.

Licenses/Certification Requirements

  • RN License required; current state nursing license or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.

Physical Requirements

  • Medium work: exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.

Sign‑On Bonus & Relocation Assistance

Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience are eligible for a $20,000 sign‑on bonus. Depending on your location, you may be eligible for up to $8,000 in relocation assistance. Eligibility requires a full‑time or part‑time position; PRN positions are not eligible.

Pay Range

$33.15 – $59.67 per hour.

Where You’ll Work

St. Anthony North Hospital, located in Westminster, offers a 7‑9 bed Level 2 NICU and provides cross‑training opportunities to PP and transition RN roles. The facility includes a Level III Trauma Center, ambulatory surgery, birthing center, and an outpatient diagnostic center.
