Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized, evidence-based care to critically ill and high-risk newborns
- Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Manage ventilators, IVs, and complex therapies
- Maintain accurate electronic medical record documentation
- Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary team
- Educate and offer emotional support to families
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN license
- Experience in neonatal or critical care nursing preferred
- Strong assessment and clinical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and emotional support abilities
