What You'll Do

  • Assess Patients: Conduct comprehensive assessments, analyze clinical data, identify care needs, and anticipate changes in patient condition.
  • Develop Care Plans: Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to create and adjust individualized plans of care based on patient goals and needs.
  • Provide Nursing Care: Implement care plans, administer medications, perform nursing procedures, educate patients and families, and respond effectively to emergencies.
  • Evaluate Outcomes: Monitor patient progress, assess responses to interventions, and modify care plans to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Communicate Effectively: Utilize SBARQ and other communication tools to ensure safe handoffs, interdisciplinary collaboration, and accurate documentation.
  • Delegate Responsibly: Assign tasks appropriately while maintaining accountability for patient safety and quality outcomes.
  • Promote Professional Practice: Adhere to nursing standards, evidence-based practice, regulatory requirements, and pursue ongoing professional development.
  • Support Team Success: Foster collaboration, mentor colleagues, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to a positive team environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
  • Experience: One year NICU experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/certification/registration: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
