How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Deliver Registered Nurse patient care by providing direct patient care in accordance with clinical protocols to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Coordinate care as a Registered Nurse by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support seamless care coordination and effective patient-centered outcomes
- Perform accurate clinical documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) to ensure compliance, support continuity of care, and drive quality improvement
- Assess patient conditions, implement care plans, and support discharge planning to ensure safe transitions and effective ongoing patient care
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
- Neonatal Resuscitation credential from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
- Specialty certification in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred
Education
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required
What additional preferences we're seeking
- 1 year RN NICU experience in a Level 3 or 4 hospital preferred
