About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a critical access hospital in Central Montana (Roundup area). This float-based role provides the opportunity to work across acute care, emergency stabilization, and patient transfer settings within a dynamic rural healthcare environment.
This position is ideal for nurses who enjoy variety in their work, developing strong clinical judgment, and gaining experience across multiple care settings. New graduate Registered Nurses are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care across acute care and stabilization units
- Assess patient conditions and respond to clinical changes
- Administer medications and treatments according to care plans
- Assist with patient stabilization and transfer preparation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families on care plans and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
Experience
- New graduate Registered Nurses considered
- Interest in rural healthcare and critical access environments strongly preferred
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Licenses and Certifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
