We are currently seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Behavioral Health team at Patuxent Correctional Institution located in Jessup, Maryland.The Registered Nurse (RN) (Mental Health) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland; BSN preferred but not requiredProgressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferredMust be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLSExperience working in a correctional or behavioral health environment preferredAbility to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background checkAvailable Shift: part time, eveningsWe offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including:Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous paid time offPaid holidaysFlexible Spending AccountContinuing Education benefitsMuch more...
