Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry
36 hours evening 8 and 12 hour shifts, every other weekend and rotating holidays required.
Job Description
About the Job: Come work for our team! Johnson 3 is an exciting 32‑bed medical telemetry unit that uses evidence‑based practice to compassionately and expertly care for patients with stroke, cardio‑pulmonary disorders, and acute infections including sepsis. We are the designated stroke unit that is providing exciting opportunities for growing our bedside neurological assessment skills. Our staff uses a comprehensive team approach in caring for our patient population where we pride ourselves in creating a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Complete assessments, administer medications, wound treatments, observe patient’s progress and evaluate therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each individual patient.
- Support and educate patients and their loved ones to achieve maximum outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Basic telemetry experience, or successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia Recognition and Care of the telemetry patient within 6 months of hire.
Pay Range
$37.00 - $84.71. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
