Responsibilities:
We are the designated stroke hospital with a TPA administration within 45 minutes of arrival. With an 18 Bed ICU we have an average daily census of 8 patients. The Pottstown ICU has prodomonitally all medical cases, but does not have cardiac or trauma. Our ICU has a critical care specialist onsite 24/7 to help with any of your questions. The ICU participates in any rapid response, stem alerts, codes or strokes.
Qualifications:
Education Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Experience:
Experience in Med/Surg preferred.
New Graduate Nurses Encouraged
Certification and Licensure:
PA Registered Nurse License
BLS Preferred (Will train during orientation)
ACLS Preferred (Will train during orientation)
CPI Preferred (Will train during orientation)
