Job Description
Saint Luke’s North Hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Medical Surgical Unit. This full‑time position is 36 hours, days.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide patient care to patients with a variety of conditions, acuity levels, and treatment plans.
- Provide telemetry patient care as needed.
- Utilize the nursing process, perform patient care, delegate patient care tasks, and supervise other patient care staff.
- Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consult with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Abide by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
- Work with supportive leadership, nursing assistants, intensivists, NPs, and respiratory therapy available at night.
- Receive extra incentives for picking up additional shifts.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of applicable experience.
- Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
- Registered Nurse license in Kansas State.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
